As the other reviewers say, this is a no-frills budget hotel, dirt cheap and ideal for a stopover. The double room was actually quite comfortable, and all our beds were decent, there were useful drink and snack machines in the lobby, even a lounge, and the hotel is situated close to the Carrefour hypermarche and a couple of restaurants.

The hotel was easy to find and the staff very friendly. In three months of travelling this was my best Value for Money accommodation and Laon was a brilliant and unexpected discovery. I would recommend a visit to the WW1 German War Cemetery - in the context of what happened in the 1930's it is very thought provoking to see young Christian and Jewish soldiers buried side by side and who obviously died as comrades in 1918.

Nice accomodation! Despite of late reservation the room was quickly prepared, clean and equipped with all I need for one night stand. Rooms are basicaly equipped, but comfortable, clean, warm, not for long stay, but it's good quality for very good price.

The location was convenient for over overnight stay as it's close to the motorway. Eventhou we arrived an hour later than planned (11pm) we.didnt have a problem checking in and the hostess was really nice and helpful. The room was clean, bed was unexpectedly very comfortable, and the bathroom had towels and soap. Way better than most accommodation and better value. I'd stay here again and would recommend this place if you need a bed for a night when travelling.

The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable and has its own (free) parking. Well worth the price. The old town is lovely with good restaurants and a freindly pub called the Dark Pearl

Very friendly staff. Extremely comfortable and large beds. (First floor). Clean crisp bedding. Shower worked well. INCREDIBLE value for money. Absolutely perfect for overnight (but don't miss looking around Laon and its incredible cathedral).

The cleanliness of the room, and the other areas of the Hotel, the friendliness of the proprietor, it was just what we needed for a one night stop over. Breakfast was a good cold buffet with hot drinks available.

It has a free parking, good price for the room and for the dog. The staff is very nice. The room was basic but clean. The location was good for the purpose of my trip. I was able to book last minute the night before.

Great place for a straightforward overnight stay if you're on the road. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast is good and lots of it. Staff great. Bed really comfy

The hotel was basic but perfectly functional and clean. It was quite and positioned two minutes from the main road. It was a 20 minute steep uphill walk into the old town, which suited us but might be a difficult walk for some. Franck the manager was very welcoming and helpful. We were sent an entry code by text as we expecting to be late.
